Jasmine Essential Oil is extracted from the flowers of Jasmine, and it has various scientific names including Jasminum Grandiflora (Royal Jasmine) and Jasminum Officinale (Common Jasmine). The oil is extracted mainly from the latter variety.
Jasmine Oil is commonly used in aromatherapy. In aromatherapy, inhaling jasmine oil molecules (or absorbing jasmine oil through the skin) is said to transmit messages to a brain region involved in controlling emotions. Known as the limbic system, this brain region also influences the nervous system. Aromatherapy proponents suggest that essential oils may affect a number of biological factors, including heart rate, stress levels, blood pressure, breathing, and immune function.

Extraction Method: Steam distillation and blending. Suggested Use
Relaxing Blend: Add 2 drops each of jasmine oil and lavender oil along with 15 drops of vanilla concentrate oil to a diffuser and enjoy.
For aromatherapy use. For all other uses, carefully dilute with a carrier oil such as jojoba, grape seed, olive or almond oil prior to use. Please consult an essential oil book or other professional reference source for suggested dilution ratios. Other Ingredients
